So I wanted to make a Pixie hat for little, I used the free crochet pattern here, and needless to say, mine didn’t end up quite like the picture. But I still liked it and made her wear it. Then she played with her new goldilocks/bear toy (a bit horrifying really, goldilocks is inside the bear!) and the resemblance the Masha and the Bear was realised!
Holidays destroyed any crochet time (too many kids for hobbies!)
But I did turn my smallest into a cabbage patch kid the other day:
The pattern is here – I’m a little scared how much the camera flash makes her look like a doll!
And I made a baby twinkle toes unicorn using thread. He/she is coming to work with me when I go back!
I love love love this Unicorn pattern from hobbycraft (also one of my favourite shops) I will definitely be keeping and eye on their website for future patterns!
I also used the unicorn head to make Baba a ‘lovey’, I skipped the mane though, as she’d eat it!
And moving on from the Amish puzzle ball we tried, we moved into the Flower ball version, which is pretty too, and baba likes it!
I also did a little needle felting… For a unicorn fan (excuse the mess on this one! I’d been shopping)
There’s been a bit of crochet being done, I think I’ve just about mastered the art of crocheting whilst balancing sleepy baby!
